This is not a mythological creature!! People can actually grow horns!!! This of course is an extreme case!!! Most cutaneous horns are tiny, but are horn shaped. Horns are composed of compacted keratin. The bases of horns are important to examine because there can be cancer present. These horns usually grow on skin that is sun exposed but can also grow on unexposed areas as well.
